Marseille and the Mucem
45 minutes drive from Moun Pantai, Marseille offers you and with it, its many architectural and cultural riches. Visit the iconic basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, built on two levels, topped by the statue of the Virgin and Child. At the entrance to the port, spend a few hours at Mucem, the Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean, one of the most visited sites of the Phocaean city. P>
The Provencal villages
It's hard to stay in Provence without visiting some of the most famous Provencal villages. Sights par excellence, sources of inspiration of past and contemporary artists, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue or Lourmarin are just an hour away from Ventabren. Ask your hosts for the best time of the day or season to get there. P>
Ventabren
Perched on a hill in a preserved natural setting, the village of Ventabren dominates the Aix countryside, itself overhung by the ruins of the castle of Queen Jeanne. This typical Provencal village is home to some curiosities that are worth a detour: the church dating from the seventeenth century, the main street, the fountains, but also its aqueduct, the Aqueduct Roquefavour, built in the mid-nineteenth, which is considered the largest stone building in the world, with its 400 m long and 83 meters high. p>
Arles
Only 50 minutes from the property, discover the beautiful city of Arles renowned for its many ruins dating back to ancient Rome, including the amphitheater of Arles, now hosting plays, concerts and Bullfights ... p>
Avignon
Come and discover the beautiful city of the popes: Avignon. City of history, art, culture, shows, Avignon will seduce you with its many facets. Do not miss the Palais des Papes built in the 14th century and the famous Pont d'Avignon. The Calvet Museum gathers in the magnificent Hôtel de Villeneuve-Martignan numerous collections of paintings, sculptures, drawings and decorative arts. Other museums that are worth visiting are the Petit Palais, the Lapidary Museum, the Angladon Museum and the Lambert Collection. P>
